Land of Forgotten main display

This is a VR interactive experience that explores embodiment in virtual space through spatial layout, bodily movement, and interaction design. By staging resistance, ritualized motion, and attention-driven environments, the work shifts VR away from mind-centric control toward physical awareness. Its goal is to reframe immersion as an embodied process of participation and acceptance rather than navigation or achievement.

HighLand

The High Land is a space of resistance and effort. Through uphill terrain, falling obstacles, elevated puzzles, and vertical climbing, the body is gradually brought into awareness. Movement here requires persistence, balance, and labor, positioning the player as small against the scale of the environment. Embodiment emerges through strain and repetition rather than mastery.

The River

The River reframes movement as flow rather than struggle. Enclosed by a compressed corridor of pillars, the space guides attention forward while limiting distraction. Seated, rhythmic hand-pedaling generates motion, shifting agency fully into the body. Eyes embedded in the environment reverse the gaze, making the player feel observed as they move quietly through the space toward enclosure and release.
